Your child will study a Bible story, learn a power point and memory verse, do hands-on activities to help them remember it and much more. It is a great way to begin their discipleship. Both Wiggle Worms and Jr. Kid's Church enjoy puppet shows preformed by our 5th graders, interactive DVD worship, games, crafts, fun memory verse songs and great object lessons to really help drive home the Bible story. You will be amazed at how much your child will learn and remember weeks and months later. Kid's Church is a great place to learn about God and meet new friends. Many of the children attend school with at least one other person in Kid's Church, so this helps them extend their faith into school relationships as well. In Kid's Church they will participate in scripture memory, funny puppet shows, interactive Praise & Worship, game time that promotes team work and engage in interactive Bible lessons that they can apply to their every day life. This is the place to be for age appropriate, life changing ministry. Wednesday Discipleship Our Wednesday nights six different classes for your child to receive the most from his/her class. Mission Friends 1 (2-K3) and 2 (K4-K5) learn about God through many various interactive ways, including video, large Bible story books, and basic scripture memorization. Pioneers for Christ (boys lst-5th) learn about God through camp fires, marshmallow wars, bugs and other critters and through missions. Princesses (girls 1st-2nd) learn about serving others based on what holidays are happening that week. For instance they learned about sharing the joy of the Lord with others during National Clown Week. Every week is a new adventure. Queen Quest (girls 3rd-5th) learn about God by actively participating in home and foreign missions projects. These girls really have to put their faith into action by memorizing scriptures, visiting the nursing home, making gifts for shut-ins and other missions activities. We also offer an optional Ministry Training Class for 5th graders only. This class teaches children how to use puppets, build object lessons, do visitation, lead worship and other skills needed to minister in the local church and around the world. Mission Statement E. A. It is our desire to reach children with the gospel of Jesus Christ and then train them to reach others. Beginning with our Wiggle Worms (2-K3), the children are introduced to Jesus and the life changing word of God in their Sunday School and Worship classes. Then, during Wednesday night Discipleship, they are taught how to help spread the gospel in their community and around the world.
